DITO SIM Registration Link 2024
Dito TeleCommunity has recently introduced DITO SIM Registration to comply with the SIM Registration Act (SRA) issued by the Government Republic Act No. 11934. This is part of the government’s efforts to prevent crimes and fraudulent activities. Failure to register your SIM card may result in deactivation by the government.

SIM Registration process is simple for both new and existing users. New users will receive an SMS with a registration form link after inserting the SIM card into their phone. Existing users can follow the guidelines provided by DITO TeleCommunity to register their SIM card and protect themselves from online scams, theft, spam texts, fake news, smishing, and other fraud cases.
How to Register DITO SIM Registration
DITO offers three methods for SIM card registration, which is applicable to both prepaid and postpaid existing users. The registration process is as simple as Globe SIM registration. Users can choose from the following methods to process the registration:
- Via SMS Link
- Via DITO App
- Via Web Portal Link
How to Register DITO SIM using APP
To register a DITO SIM card using the DITO App, follow these simple steps:
- Download the DITO App on your Android or iOS device.
- Open the DITO App and log in with your username and password.
- On the Dashboard, click on the “SIM Registration” icon or “Register your SIM” banner.
- Select the type of registrant that applies to you. The available options include Filipino, Filipino Dependent/Minor, Foreign National Tourist, Foreign National with VISA, and Business Entity/Organization.
- Enter your 11-digit DITO Mobile Number to receive a one-time PIN. Alternatively, you can also scan your SIM ICCID.
- Click the “verify” button to proceed.
- Enter the one-time PIN you received to verify your phone number.
- Click on the “submit” button to proceed further.
- Capture a photo of your government-issued ID card by clicking on the “Camera” icon.
- Upload your selfie for further verification.
- Fill out the personal information form. Ensure that your personal information is legal and confidential according to the Philippines Government Issued ID Card for SIM registration.
- Check your data and make any necessary edits or changes.
- Check the two boxes to agree to the terms and conditions.
- Click on the “Register” button to complete the procedure.
- Congratulations, you’re now registered with the DITO SIM Card!

DITO SIM Registration via SMS Link
New subscribers of DITO TeleCommunity can register their SIM cards via SMS link. To register, follow these steps:
- Insert the SIM card in your phone.
- Check your phone’s message inbox for a link from DITO TeleCommunity.
- Open the link to start the DITO SIM registration process.
- Fill out the registration form according to the guidance provided in the DITO App Method.
- Submit the form and you will be successfully registered.
DITO SIM Registration via Web Portal Link
To register your DITO SIM card, you can use the web portal link method available at https://register.dito.ph/. This method will take you directly to the DITO App, which you need to download and install if you haven’t done so already.
Encountering SIM Registration Failure
If you encounter any issues with SIM registration, follow these steps to address the errors:
- Ensure that you have downloaded the latest version of the DITO App.
- Fill out the form completely before submitting it.
- If you encounter any errors, log out of the app, then log in again and reprocess the SIM registration.
If you continue to experience issues, contact the official DITO SIM Registration number at 185 using your DITO SIM card.

Personal Information Requirements
DITO SIM registration requires different personal information based on the user category. Subscribers need to provide their:
- Full name, date of birth,
- Gender, and
- Present or official address.
They also need to provide a government-issued ID card for registration. For minors, the SIM card should be registered under the parent/legal guardian’s name along with any government-issued ID of the parent or guardian. The parent’s consent/guardian’s consent is also required to register the DITO SIM card.
Businesses need to provide their SEC/DTI Certificate of Registration, while tourists need to provide:
- Their passport,
- Address in the Philippines,
- Return ticket
- Departure date/time
- From the Philippines as proof.
- Foreigners (non-tourist) need to provide:
- Passport,
- Address in the Philippines,
Bureau of Immigration (BI) issued Alien Certificate of Registration Identification Card (ACRI Card) or visa-issuing agency issued official ID.
- Students need to provide:
- Their school registration and ID,
- While for Persons of Concern (POCs),
- Travel or admission document issued by the Department of Justice is required.
Additionally, Special Power of Attorney (SPA) or Board Designated Resolution is required for certain cases.

Eligible Government IDs List for Registration
Dito TeleCommunity has recently updated its list of accepted government-issued IDs for SIM registration, as of January 2024. The list includes a variety of IDs, such as:
- Passport,
- Philsys ID or National ID,
- SSS ID, GSIS e-Card,
- Driver’s License,
- NBI Clearance,
- Police Clearance,
- Firearms’ License to Own and Possess ID,
- PRC ID,

This comprehensive list of government-issued IDs provides users with a variety of options to choose from when registering their SIM cards. It is important to note that users must provide a valid government-issued ID when registering their SIM cards, and the ID must be current and not expired.
Rewards After Registration
DITO provides bonus gifts to its subscribers after they successfully register for their SIM card. These rewards include 2GB bonus data, loyalty rewards, and compatibility with DITO-compatible phones.
For non-compatible phones, there is a simple tip to make them compatible.
2GB Bonus Data
Once a subscriber completes the registration process, they will receive 2GB bonus data on their SIM card. This bonus data can be used for data roaming with family and friends. The subscriber can register for this SIM according to the guidelines provided by DITO.

Tip for Non-Compatible Phones
If a subscriber’s phone is not compatible with DITO, they can set the APN manually to make their phone compatible. The following steps can turn a non-compatible phone into a compatible one:
- Go to your phone’s Settings.
- Look for the Networks options.
- Click on “Mobile Networks” and find “Access Point Names (APN)”.
- Click the “add” button and type “internet.dito.ph”.
- Once done, click the “Save” button to submit.
- Turn on your “Mobile Data” with DITO and enjoy!
